While the Resistance tries to fight off the First Order,
Luke trains Rey the ways of the Force to become a Jedi.
When I was a kid my father introduced me to the world of
Star Wars and I became a huge fan of the saga. Ever since then I always wait patiently
for months till the next episode. This episode is great and visually stunning,
with great action scenes. I have a few minor problems but overall it was
definitely worth every penny. Seeing Luke back was a dream all fans have been
waiting for. He’s not the same anymore. He’s now a broken man that has a lot of
guilt about something in his past I won’t spoil. Clocking in at 152 minutes you
would think that the movie will slow down at times but it pulls you in for the
whole movie. The only time it gets slow and uninteresting is Finn’s subplot. It
felt so odd cause it’s mandatory for him and a new character Rose to go to a
casino that it felt uneven. Other than that, I had a blast with the film. The
ending is a great way to set up something new for the saga. I recommend watching
it in theaters then buying it on Blu-ray right when it comes right. Verdict:8.1
